High school student/College student researchers presented their group research findings at AACAP 2024 annual meeting. The project, Measurement of Satisfaction with Stanford CHIPAO in a Virtual Format, started during the COVID 19 pandemic with online brainstorming meetings Dr. Sust and Dr. Ha had with high school students, college students, medical students, and residents all over the United States.

The 2021 AACAP Advocacy and Collaboration Grant was awarded to Dr. Ha and Dr. Sust to investigate if a virtual format of the Stanford CHIPAO program would be a satisfactory means to address the mental health stigma Asian families have towards mental health care. The results of this poster are displayed on this poster (link to the poster below).

Of note, one of the research presenters at AACAP 2025, Goeun Lee, was a high school student at the start of this project and she continued to work on this project over the last 4 years. She helped create the video used for this study, recruit subjects, and made significant contributions to the creation of this research poster. She is currently a senior at Yale University and is on track to major in psychology.
